How come forgiveness is such a hard thing? I wish I could forgive so many things but I cannot allow myself to. Yes, it makes you bitter, cold and most of all, it gets you down, far down.
I believe that I am so damaged from all the hurt I have experienced that am unable to forget and move on when things hit me like a rocket in the face.

And how come one never learn? Why do one expose themselves to the same fire as before over and over again. Why do people make the same mistake twice or even more? Are people just stupid or what?

I wish I could learn all of the above.

Dear friends, readers, I can't understand why you persist to linger here although my updates are pretty much zero. It flatters me though. Thank you.

I am moving, not my blog, but my home. Today decided to buy a bigger place for me and my creativity and I am very much excited. It is time and I know my heart will grow fond of this place, it even has a balcony where I can spend my early summer mornings and maybe grow some herbs.

But before I can move in I need to make some changes, new wallwapers, new color to a few walls and much more.

I will try to post some photos as I go.

Oh my gosh… here it goes:

1. I love wathcing horror movies even though they frighten me so much I have to sleep with my light on.

2. I can’t live without chocolate and pineapple pie. I simply can’t!

3. I love cooking, especially excotic and spicy food. I make a killer chicken wok!

4. I take my camera everywhere, I never leave my house without it. It’s a piece of me and if I don’t have it near I feel empty and hollow.

5. I often take long walks in the darkness, it calms my soul and I clear my head that way, it helps me sleep.

6. I am a hopeless romantic and 90 % of my day involves alot of daydreaming…

7. I love my work. They way the people light up like christmas trees when you walk in a room, they way you can make them happy but just listnening and being there. Working with people are the best decision I ever made.

Thank you for all your sweet comments on my snow-post, I reall appreciate reading all of your words.

So here it is then, the period that I dread all year; winter. I am frightened. I do don't function well during the wintermonths, my soul is in a much darker place then. Some of you describe happiness when snow is brought up and some are like me, who much rather would fall asleep and dream sweet dreams of summer til' the end of february. Maybe I should go away, travel and see the forgotten corners of the world? If I could I most certainly would.

How do you deal with winter? How do you cope? I could use to sweet advice right about now.

The whole idea with this shot was that all of you who uses coffee as a lifeboat during sleepy days would recongnize themselves.

The lifeboat sign is from a lake nearby and the empty coffee mug belongs to a friend. I thought it would be a perfect blend.

I have been making jam out of my black currants today and here is the disastrous result! The hole pot overboiled and my stove looked awful. I ended up with a few beautiful jars though and those are now rigorously stacked in the back of my pantry.

It’s true. The mornings are colder now and you can’t go barefoot any longer without getting frightful. It’s sad really for I am not ready yet. Nor will I ever be. If I could stay in a certain mood forever it would surely be the sweet mood of summer. I don’t like the changing of seasons.

Simple - like the way your coat smells after a day in the woods or the way you fold your striped shirt at night. I wonder if you think of me as you walk around in that big house of yours or as you sneak away down to the basement for a moment or two alone. I thought of you today.

I was off exploring earlier tonight with a friend and we found this bridge. Who knew this place existed so close to our homes? I surely didn’t. I can see myself sitting here, on cool summer nights, dreaming of better days.

I love old railroads! Here is a shot from the bridge itself. An old railroad track goes right trough it. Facinating isn’t it? Wish you all could have been there.

Thoughts of harvest

My garden is in bloom and I can harvest tomatoes any day now. Yay!

We have had some autumn-like days here lately and today as I took a stroll behind the house I noticed that the currant bushes are on their way too. I love this time of year when we harvest the most. Blueberries and cloudberries fill the forest as we speak and I can barely wait to take them home.

Here comes another shot from the zoo! I believe this is a fallow deer but I am not sure, I didn’t pay much attention to signs next to the cages actually. This guy looked straight at me and what a beauty he is! I simply must visit zoo’s more often, anyone feel like joining?

I have been working tonight at my assisant nurse job, I hadn’t been there in ages but tonight I was. It felt amazing. I can’t wait to go back.

Hey friends! Today me and my cousin Anna and her family went to the zoo and we had a lot of fun =0) I got stuck by the bear’s nest and immeadiately fell in love with these little babies. We wandered around all day by the animals and had a lovely lunch at the zoo’s resturant. A lovely day with an amazing family! My day couldn’t possibly get any better!

Last night, we were back at that place again. That old school. I have dreamt this so many times now that I have lost the count of it all.

The walls were dark, old white curtains swaying in the cold evening wind. I hear you moving up the stairs, softly, walking tip toe like you were in hiding. It must have been winter for the floors felt like ice under my bare feet.

You never left, you were always there, in that house, at that time, every day. Like I could come as soon I needed you and I would be greeted. Did you live there perhaps? Live in the shadow of love, never telling a soul about the aching, the hurting, the pain.

You told me and I listened. I therefore visit you again and again in this place and we bask in the warmth of each other. Two lonely souls, a man and a woman, in that big corridor on the top of the stairs in the back of my head.
