Learn to be still

We danced slowly that night, the tv was on and the eagles sang. Time stood still. How terribly I miss you, my love.

This one's for you baby.

Have you had your heart broken? Is that why you are so extremely sad? Or has some other tragic event happened in your life, to make you so sad? I wish there was someway that we could help you to feel better.

Dear Ida,

I am so sorry. I know words can't always help when we lose someone we love dearly. But, the one thing we have which can never be taken away from us, are our memories of that one. As long as you have happy memories of that dear loved one, they will always be there with you in your heart.

Will it ever get easier? Yes and no. Somedays will be worse than others, but the heartache softens as time goes by. But, there will always be a song, smell, or memory that will make us laugh or cry. But, grief is good, we have to grieve before we can move on with our life. For some it takes longer than others, but in time you will began to feel better. But, that loved one will never be forgotten.

What am I doing today? Well, since it is only my husband and myself, now, I am doing laundry. I do laundry for us about every 7-9 days. It sure beats laundry day when I had 5 children and myself and husband to keep after, than it was about every other day.

We retired 10 years ago. We had a farm which we farmed, but 10 years ago we sold it and moved 850 miles away and haven't missed it one bit. We are now enjoying our "Golden Years" doing whatever we want.

How was the evening out with your friend? And how was the Chinese Food? Hmmm yummy I hope!

You will be in my thoughts and prayers, hoping that you will be able to cope, at this most difficult time.
